Food & Beverage Analysis

 

Food and Beverage

Both the Gallery Discrete Analyzer and Gallery Plus Discrete Analyzer provide an integrated platform for two measurement techniques, photometric and electrochemical (pH and conductivity) which can be run simultaneously. In wine production, sugars, acids, alcohol, and sulfite analysis are important parameters for production and quality control. Gallery analyzers require no advanced preparation time and samples can be added at any time without interrupting the current run. Multiple tests can be done on a single sample with accurate, reproducible results. Your first result is available in as little as ten minutes with subsequent results coming out every 18 to 30 seconds. Method changeover time is eliminated since each reaction occurs in an individual cuvette.

Examples of food and beverage applications include (but not limited to) acetaldehyde, acetic acid, ammonia, ascorbic acid, asparagin, bitterness, calcium, chloride, citric acid, D-Fructose, D-Glucose, glycerol, hesperidin, lactose, magnesium, nitrate, pH, potassium, total iron, total protein, wine and beer colours.

    Water Analysis

     

    Water Analysis

    Test your water samples with a flexible and easy to use instrument, offering parallel measurement of multiple analytes. Wastewater and process water need to be tested for many analytes including ammonia, nitrite and phosphorus. Gallery analyzers are flexible, can accommodate multiple sample types, and simultaneously analyze various parameters. Testing is efficient, hands-on time is significantly reduced, and waste is minimized. These instruments are easy to use and need no additional priming or method changeover time. Even additional tests can be requested without interrupting the routine workflow.


    Eliminate any risk of carry-over or requirement to wash glassware as measurements cover a large concentration range with excellent reproducibility. An integrated platform, photometric and electrochemical, can be run in parallel without the need for an external source of water.

    The discrete cell technology of Gallery analysers has been adapted in over 50 environmental applications including soil and industrial quality control. If you’re providing agronomic recommendations to advise farmers on the requirements for soil augmentation, accurate and reliable results are essential. Determining concentrations that are sufficient for optimal plant growth and accurately examining the nutritional issues of plants is paramount.


    In sediment analysis, Gallery analyzers determine the concentrations of analytes in soil impacted by hydraulic fracturing, in an effort to minimize negative environmental impact.

    Gallery Discrete Analyzer

    Improve productivity while achieving reproducible results in minutes with the Thermo Scientific Gallery Discrete Analyzer. The discrete analyzers are robust, easy-to-use, and provide parallel measurement of multiple analytes, including those used in photometric (colorimetric and enzymatic) and electrochemical (pH and conductivity) analysis. All necessary analysis steps are automated and low detection levels can be achieved. The Gallery Discrete Analyzer includes a combined sample and reagent disk for a maximum capacity of 90 samples and 30 reagents, with the capacity to perform up to 200 tests per hour.

The Gallery Plus Analyzer can accommodate 108 samples and 42 reagents in its separated sample and reagent disks, with the capacity to perform up to 350 tests per hour.

    Gallery Plus Beermaster Discrete Analyzer

    Dedicated for beer, cider, malt, and wort analysis, the Thermo Scientific Gallery Plus Beermaster Discrete Analyzer provides greater efficiency in quality monitoring, and its Bitterness Column Module (BCM) includes unique automated pretreatment and measurement of bitterness. This benchtop analyzer automates the determination of analytes, including beta-glucan, FAN, and SO2 from the same single sample and offers fast sample turnaround to expand laboratory analytical capability.
